Why we’re doing this

One complaint is easy to set aside. Dozens of separate, time-stamped reports from different units, backed by City case numbers, show a pattern that has to be dealt with.

02

Why the numbers matter

One to five people complaining now and then gets set aside. Forty or more residents, with time-stamped reports and City case numbers, is a public nuisance affecting a whole building, and that is what gets acted on. If neighbouring buildings join, stronger still.

03

How it works

  1. Sign up once. First name, last initial, unit. About 20 seconds.
  2. Each noisy night, report it to the City while it’s happening. Ask for a case number.
  3. Then tap “Log noise now”. You get a receipt number and a time stamp.
  4. We combine everyone’s reports into one package, using totals only.

        Your privacy

        • We ask only your first name, last initial and unit. Email is optional and used only to send your personal link.
        • This page never shows unit numbers, full names, or who filed which report. It shows totals, plus masked names like Mar••• R••• if you allow it.
        • Your details are kept in the organizer’s private account. The page uses an encrypted (https) connection. We don’t collect your location.
        • The lawyer’s letters to the business and the property owner state totals only, never names.
        • Only the organizer is named to the City. If you call the City yourself, it may ask for your name and address, and City records can be public. If you’d rather not, just log it here.
        • The City package uses anonymous resident codes (R-001, R-002…). Names stay with the organizer and the lawyer. We will never give out your name without asking you first.
